Wait a minute... I thought a wally was something like a cross between a decal and wall paper... Finally found it... wally. Slang. a stupid person So to call someone a Wally is basically calling them an idiot or clueless. |

I forgot to mention this yesterday. Was anyone else (tragically) unfamiliar with a French Canadian accent? That is not the way I expected that accent to sound at all. It didn't sound French. It sounded vaguely Spanish. Sure it was sorta nasally, but it lacked that "my teeth never touch when I speak" sound of the French French accent.
As a side note, how sad is it that Mexico doesn't have a short track team? This sport needs a guy nicknamed "Speedy Gonzales."

I WOULD LOSE SOOO MUCH RESPECT FOR APOLO IF HE WENT COMPLETELY HOLLYWOOD AND I THINK IT WOULD BE TERRIBLE IF HE DID A MOVIE AND IT WAS BAD IT WOULD CRUSH HIS SELF ASTEEM

French (France-French, Canook, or Cajun) aren't my favorite, anyway. I like a good Scottich accent to get me going.

I like an english accent. Actually, I just like the way english people speak. They always seem to have such an amazing grasp on grammar and I'm jealous. I have a terrible complex that my grammar is sh!te [sic]  Australian is hot. French Canadian is...surprising. But mostly it's just jarring. For a second I thought he might be Mexican and I had gotten seriously mixed up somewhere down the line. Although it did open up a whole new world of "Arrrribas!" and "Aye aye ayes!" that might have been fun. Ooh, and "Undeley! Undeley! Undeley!" to be screamed during races and, you know, whatever else. |

I think the same think. I am too very greety and do not want to see Apolo in that kind of limelight. I mean, I am very far away from America, let alone California, but wot I've heard of those ppl is that they are very shallow and stupid minded. I do not want to disrespect anyone. It is only wot I have heard. Those ppl do not have any culture let alone a passion for sports. I think that is very sad. It seems like those girls only care about being anorexic and having $$$ or boyfriends with $$$. They are only interested in their expensive cars and clothing. They dont care about the environment or the fact that there are millions others who have nothing to eat at night or the fact that there are many more other things in life that are more important than their worries about wot to wear to diner or how your hair looks in a convertible. I think Apolo is much better than all those people. He has taste, intelligence, structure, discipline and above all he has a great heart that expands to others without thinking back. |
