You know, I like him in blue...although, maybe not that light of a shade of baby blue. But, the blue he was wearing in Arkansas...yum!

i'm sorry but i have to agree with Billiey....light blue and Apolo don't match....plus with those velvet rapper-like costumes makes him look 'tiny'....save those clothes Apolo...they suck on you

I would probably think that he looked great even if he was wearing Pepto-Bismal pink (well okay...I might say, "not his best color", lol.) I think that the baby blue is okay but the medium, royal blue that he had on in Arkansas was *very* flattering.
I also think that he looks good in red, white, black, and dark navy.

Apolo Ohno, who was deeply involved in the search for a new short track coach, personally intervened to convince Thibault to apply for a position with USS... the following day, new executive director of USS Bob Crowley called Thibault and told him, 'You're our man. We need you.' Ten days ago, Thibault met with USOC officials and presented a four-year development plan for USS. They evidently received it (and Thibault) enthusiastically! Thibault is hopeful that Apolo will return, saying he's training now and although he won't be at the first 2 World Cups of the season, he's getting back into shape, is happy about where things are heading and is putting a plan in place for the next four years. Thibault will wait till next year to move to Salt Lake City. He doesn't want to disrupt the school year for his kids (13 and 16). Until then, he'll spend 1-2 weeks a month in the U.S. and will attend some of the World Cups.

I had to run the article through a translator and another tidbit caught my eye. Thibault mentioned wanting to put together a dream team, in this case I think he was referring to coaches as well as skaters, and that's something Apolo has mentioned trying to do several times.
He also had plenty to do with convincing the Korean coach to join. With so much going the way he wants it to go, how can Apolo not keep skating?

I think he will come back. In my opinion he wouldn't have gotten so involved in getting the right coach and in the hiring of Guy. Looks like good things ahead for the team.

I think if he was definitely planning on coming back, he would let us know. I don't think he's trying to be cagey.
He's behind the others in getting in shape. If/when he's ready to compete again, I'm sure we'll hear about it.

yes I think so to...do not understand why so cagey about saying he will be back... I understand where you are coming from Laura. This is just my opinion but I think he wanted to try the Hollywood scene and use that as something to fall back on but still kept his fingers in the USS pot. He workded hard on getting the new coach and Guy hired. When those two things happend it lured him bck to skating. If he didn't see good things ahead for USS and the team he wouldn't be back at the OTC training right now. This is what I think any way.

Also, I'm sure he didn't say whether or not he was coming back because if he said he was going to retire, he'd lose his spot in CS to someone else, as well as his pad in the OTC. So he left it open as he explored Hollywoodland looking for his big break knowing he could fall back on Colorado Springs if he couldn't find a good gig or if he just missed the sport too much.

Yeah, but that's not being cagey. That just means he hadn't made up his mind yet.
It does look more and more probable all the time that he'll skate again, though.
