Thank you aggie, for the article, and amy, for the photos. I love it when he shares any details of his life, hopes, and dreams. It sounds like he is in a really postive place.

ok i think u have to deal with this....so if he does want to be an actor, i think he would be a guy who plays with weapons or guns or swords or knives etc.....you know, like Orlando Bloom....but that's just my opinion

Nah Ruffian, I never thought Yuki was "gay". I just think he was so busy raising his son as a single dad and taking him all over for his meets and stuff. I bet he hardly had time for a love life alot of that time. And I've known enough "gay" hairdressers in my life to think that he wasn't. He just does not give off that "gay vibe" to me. I'm so happy for Yuki that he has someone and is engaged. He deserves to be happy and she looks like a very lovely lady. If I ever was lucky enough to meet Apolo, I'd hope that Yuki was there, too because I'd want to shake his hand and thank him for being such a great parent and sacrificing so much for Apolo and helping him to achieve greatness. Yuki is a class act in my book. Both he AND Apolo are! |

He may not have any acting experience, but I tell ya somthing, he is a smart, articulate guy and he could probably learn to act in no time at all. I mean seriously, I've seen PLENTY of so-so actors get far in Hollywood, unfortunately, and I betcha Apolo could do MUCH better than some of THEM are doing. But yeah, action, adventure stuff like that, I think he'd be a natural for! |

I was thinking. You know what could be a great movie for Apolo (hoping that the true incident ends up in a happy way) but what about him playing Prado (Barbaro's jockey) in a biography based movie on the racehorse. The whole sage is filled with drama and suspence! I think it would be a killer role for him to conquer! The jockey that suffered a horrible fall that nearly cost him his life. Then to meet a trainer who won the silver medal in the 1996 Olympics, saved a few kids in a horrible plane crash, and both meet together because of Barbaro.
What do you all think?

Warhorse, I like your idea for Apolo. I think he'd be perfect for that role because it would involve sports. I still want to see him skate in the 2010 games. The Vancouver games could be his farewell games, and he could help the relay team get another medal.  |

There's something I don't understand, and I'm not trying to start an argument. I'm just really curious.
Why wouldn't some of you want to see Apolo kissing someone in a movie?
Do you not like those kinds of scenes generally, or is it just Apolo you don't want to see doing one?

I'll admit it i'd be jealous to see him doing a kissing scene with some gal cuz i want it to be me. LOL But i want him to do what he wants to do. =)
