I bet Pittsburgh fans are not happy about it...and this Blues fan says 'crap, detroit just got better'  i hope he goes too. I'd love to see him in a usa uni. he played for usa last november, and won mvp  at least the blues re-signed david backes. i was starting to worry over it some. |

stupid storm. i missed the rest of the game due to the rain messing w/ my dish signal. At least they won. A come from behind one too. Troy Glaus hit the game winning homer. Albert! Stop swinging at bad pitches, I know you want #300...you'll get there... Memphis won. Colby got a night off. Either because a left hander started...or his new mini slump...probably the former. |

The Cards got their butts handed to them 11-1. Rookie Mitch Boggs didn't do so hot.  Colby sat out another game, a nasty left hander was on the mound. Colby's had better numbers against leftys...surprising since he's a lefty himself...  |

 love that smiley. cards are down one nothing to the cubs. still early yet. haven't checked on memphis yet... good news, memphis is leading. bad news, rasmus is out for the third game in a row. it's probably nothing, but it feels like something is going on. i hope he's not hurt. one last edit, promise. cards lose to the cubs 2-1. albert homer #300 memphis wins 4-2. rumor has it that rasmus has hip flexor issues. ouch! |

I think it's time colby takes a little trip to the dl. 5th straight day. besides they just called up joe mather from memphis to st. louis. (barton's hurt, need another righty.) there's three lefties (ankiel, schumaker, duncan) and two righties (now mather and ludwick) mulder's going to start later this week. i have a gut feeling it could go badly. i hope not, but retirement could be around the corner. both day games for both clubs. come on wellemeyer get it into gear! |

I hope nobody retires. If you get really bad in a week does that mean you'll go to the DL no matter if you're famous or not? |

the dl is when someone is injured, and they need someone to take their spot. they have plenty of out fielders tho. just wondering how bad it is, that's all.

one more little update for tonight. cards lose... *sigh* red birds win... i see a pattern, one wins, the other loses. now i read it might be a slight groin pull for Colby. oh, that's gotta hurt. well it's something in that, er, area. (below the waist) and the furtures game is coming up, i have a feeling he may not be able to play... |

Tim Lincecum of The Giants is an allstar this year. ;D Albert Pujols and Ryan Ludwick for The Cardinals. I really thought Kyle Lohse would go, he hasn't lost a game since May I think. Tim is 10-1. That's just amazing. I think Kyle is 10-2. Colby still out, Memphis smoked New Orleans last night. I'm begining to wonder if he's hurt or if there's a trade... (not questioning him so much, but it's starting to get odd when the injury is not out there like it should be.)  |
