i your anxious enthusiasm (i was the same way...hh)
looking forward to reading your acceptance doggerel .

I rarely read Girl of the Week
Thought my prospects for that would be bleak
Coz my posts are not many
And my style might make some say,
"Make her stop, that long-winded ghost-geek."

So this honor that GA bestows
For a week sweet Apolo in tow
I humbly accept
I'll make sure he's well kept
As for details, us ghosts we lay low.

For sure we'll talk sports, I surmise
Maybe gossip a bit, I'll surprise
And ask him, "Hey 'Po,
You and Jules, yes or no?"
On second thought, that may not be wise.

Real Mexican food I will feed him
In my neck of the woods that's a given
After picking his brain
And no doubt some weight gain
He'll go back to the next girl in waitin'.

Lest you think that my plan's all cerebral
Or a food-filled, fun week at the table
Think again, I’m no fool
Yes, discreetly I’ll drool
Just because these old eyes they're still able.


After a day doing laundry and scrubbing toilets, that's probably where this doggerel belongs, but it's my way of saying thanks to all of you (especially number1) for thinking of me even though I'm usually around just in spirit. Take care . . . Casper.
