That is an understatement. She's doing really bad. I feel so bad for my mom. She is losing her last surviving sister.  Aunt Roberta passed in 98. Aunt Nellie passed in 02. Now Aunt Violet is in a coma, and her system is shutting down. I'm sad, but I feel more sad for my mom. And I lost my uncle on my dad's side....about a week and a half ago. He was the only brother remaining. It hasn't hit me yet. And it will. I may be scarce for a while. Just thought I'd let you know. |

Tabs, I'm sorry to hear about your Aunt. Definitely adding you and your family to my prayer list. You'll be missed, but we understand that family is important.

I got the news that I was dreading. She passed away. I am waiting for it to sink in still. I'm in so much shock. Thank u everyone. It means so much to me.

Tabitha,
I add my sentiments to those already listed by others.
I lost my father a week ago, at 87. My daughter was a real source of energy for me as I moved thru the very tired past 2 months. Lean on your family and let them take care of you, too. Take the strength of others and let people help you thru this.
Here is a poem that has meant so much to me...this life really is just a stepping stone to the next. Your aunt is off to a wonderful new adventure.
SHIP OF LIFE

Tabatha... I'm very sorry for your loss. It must be a very difficult time for you and your family. You have my deepest sympathy. I sincerely hope that things will get better in the weeks to come.

Thanks so much everyone. That poem is beautiful. The funeral is set for Tuesday. It finally hit me. But that is the least of my problems, but I shall overcome. I'll check back in at a later date.

Tabatha, I'm so sorry to hear of your aunt's passing. We had a recent scare with my aunt, so the fear of losing a loved one is fresh in my mind. I wish there was some magic way to not sorrow, but sorrow may only be the door to something better, as AAO's beautiful poem suggested. God bless you. AAO, I'm sorry to hear about the recent passing of your father. I can't imagine that! I think it will be quite devastating for me when that day comes. May God continue to give you strength and peace. |
