I found when I watched this just now that my body would lean left when he went into the corners, then back to the right on the straightaway. At one time I yelled out and my poor German Shephard got startled, thinking there was something wrong with me.
There wasn't one time in that race when I wasn't thinking that disaster would strike; it all seemed so precarious. Interesting too to see it again after having read the article about how Apolo likes a 1-on-1 challenge.
He checks in back of him 2 ways, looking over his right shoulder, or looking down between his legs! I hadn't noticed that one before.
So nice that he did the hand slap with the fans...
And I loved the "Apolo - Lord of the Rings" poster.
