We got a virus awhile back on our computer that screwed up Quicktime(I still haven't figured out how to fix it.)Anyways I can't view Koko tv video and some of the others is there a way to put them on a different media player I really want to see these.It also freezes up the computer and i have to reboot anytime i try to go to that viideo and the second Ellen one is not working at all.

Missy--I'll try to convert it tomorrow (I might have another version on my computer already, I haven't checked.) Does Windows Media Player work for you? I can't upload on my home computer so it'll have to be tomorrow... sorry about that!
Has anyone else had any problems playing files?

I'm having trouble with watching the one were only Apolo and Julianne are on Ellen (the MPEG video one) and another one, but I can't remember.

yes windows media works for me!that would be awesome,we have tried constantly to figure out what happened cause I can't even use it to view hanson net so it is frustrating.

Missy--not sure if you're gone but which Ellen was it? tdavis was having problems with the May 5 one, but you said the second one, so was it the May 21 one? Let me know.

it is basically all the files that say quicktime mov and I think it was the first Ellen.

I'm fixing the Ellen video--it took me FOREVER to get this one to work! I ended up reconverting the whole thing. So it's uploading as I type this and after that's done, it should be working--the one from 5.4.05. Hopefully that will work for those who were having trouble with it.
Missy--I don't know how soon I'll be able to convert ALL the quicktime files, since I'm currently in the process of downloading/converting/organizing all the videos of Phase II of the archive (thanks, Christy!). I'm keeping you in mind, though, and converting all the ones I can into Windows Media format (AVI). I'm going to get the KOKO video up for you, since you specifically requested it. If there are any others that you really, really want, I'll do my best to get them up for you. Just let me know.

unfortunately it is still not working the quicktime thing pops up that says you don't have the software required.it doesn't show up windows media at all.

That's the link for the AVI file, which should ask if you if want to "Save it to Disk." Once it's downloaded, it should open in Windows Media. I don't think it would ask you anything about Quicktime. I just tried the Ellen one and all it does is go to the broken link for quicktime.I am baffled and frustrated as I am sure you are too.

is there any way to upload them to sendspace or megaupload I know that means more work for you guys then I could use my vlc player or windows media and it should work,
