Hi Christy, Several months ago I had asked ifanyone had videos from the 2002 Olympics concerning Apolo's injury (thigh cut) and also the awards ceremony for the silver that he got in that race. I don't think I've ever seen that awards ceremony. You had responded that you thought you had something and would look thru your files. THen I know that you got quite caught up in work obligations and didn't have the time. If you're back in the saddle here in the FOrum and have some time, would you be able to dig up anything you have? I think the only pic I've seen is one of him on crutches; and we recently saw the repost of the holistic work that he had done on his overall health when he got cut. Thanks! LInda Hi Linda, I am kinda back in the saddle - still busy with work, but that won't change! I actually forgot about those Olympic videos. Time passed and it slipped my mind. Feel free to PM if I forget! I do have the silver ceremony from 2002 & am uploading that for you now. I did go through my files of the videos I have of the races and some of them do not play. I am checking the 02 files now as I only checked the 06 files a while back. I'll return with the download links shortly.

Christy, thanks so much!
I did a 'save as' on all of them and when I try to run any of them, the video runs for about 2 seconds and then stops. The audio portion continues playing.
Have you ever heard of anything like this? I am running the latest version of Windows Media.
About 4 weeks my laptop caught a nasty virus (when opening up an Apolo google alert) and it totally crashed the system. So I've been rebuilding it over the past few weeks...don't know if I'm missing apiece of software that is causing the problem.
Any thoughts?
Linda

Linda I was able to download them on my work computer, so it must be my home laptop; probably missing something from its crash. If you have any ideas, being a video guru... For anyone else reading this, the virus that clobbered my laptop was called winter.exe and I got it in mid-December by opening up an Apolo google alert. Hope no one else was attacked. From an obscure website like a blog fan fic....
