Not ALL of the music I listen to has words, though. I listen to a lot of jazz, new age, classical and adult-contemporary instrumental music, too. There is THIS song. I just listened to it as I wrote a very nice passage in the Apolo fic I am writing in my Live Journal right now. It's by a band called Acoustic Alchemy and the song is called "Shoestring". Yes, I know, it does NOT sound very romantic, but just give it a listen. It's a quite beautiful but interesting song. It inspired a very nice chapter in my story, indeed. This is a You-Send-It file, so it's only good for 7 days from now. download.yousendit.com/CC97C9D67189C58A

Possession by Sarah McLachlan off of her CD "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy"
Possession
Listen as the wind blows from across the great divide, Voices trapped in yearning, memories trapped in time, The night is my companion and solitude my guide, Would I spend forever here and not be satisfied?
And I would be the one to hold you down, kiss you so hard, I'll take your breath away and after I'd wipe away the tears, Just close your eyes dear
Through this world I've stumbled so many times betrayed, Trying to find an honest word, to find the truth enslaved, Oh you speak to me in riddles and you speak to me in rhyme My body aches to breathe your breath, your words keep me alive,
And I would be the one to hold you down, kiss you so hard, I'll take your breath away and after I'd wipe away the tears, Just close your eyes dear
Into this night I wander, it's morning that I dread, Another day of knowing of the path I fear to tread, Oh into the sea of waking dreams I follow without pride, Nothing stands between us here and I won't be denied
And I would be the one to hold you down, kiss you so hard, I'll take your breath away and after I'd wipe away the tears, Just close your eyes dear

I'll send the song clip to you, babe. I love Sarah because I have alot of Celtic blood in me like she does ( on my mom's side. ) She speaks to my "inner Celtic" woman. And that is very deep, indeed!

My song to Apolo is called Better Together/Jack Johnson. I love this song. ;D
There's no combination of words I could put on the back of a postcard No song I could sing But I can try for your heart Our dreams, and they are made out of real things Like a, shoebox of photographs With sepiatone loving Love is the answer, At least for most of the questions in my heart Like why are we here? and where do we go? And how come it's so hard? It's not always easy and Sometimes life can be deceiving I'll tell you one thing its always better when we're together
MMM its always better when we're together Yeah, look at the stars when we're together Well, it's always better when we're together Yeah, it's always better when we're together
And all of these moments Just might find their way into my dreams tonight But I know that theyll be gone When the morning light sings And brings new things For tomorrow night you see That theyll be gone too Too many things I have to do But if all of these dreams might find their way Into my day to day scene I'd be under the impression I was somewhere in between With only two Just me and you Not so many things we got to do Or places we got to be We'll Sit beneath the mango tree now
Its always better when we're together Mmmm, we're somewhere in between together Well, it's always better when we're together Yeah, it's always better when we're together
MMmmmm MMMmmmm Mmmmmm I believe in memories They look so, so pretty when I sleep Hey now, and when I wake up, You look so pretty sleeping next to me But there is not enough time, And there is no song I could sing And there is no, combination of words I could say But I will still tell you one thing We're Better together.

Krysten, I listen to SO MANY different kinds of music, there's HARDLY anyone that I don't know at least WHO they are, whether I've actually HEARD them may be a different story, but other than that, yeah. I am a self-processed MUSIC JUNKIE and proud of it. At one time, I went to broadcasting school to be a music DJ.

Didn't I read somewhere that you're an artist too? I wanted to ask you, what kind of art do you do? Painting, sculpture, etc.? I, too, love music, but I can't boast that I know that many recording artists... I have my favorites and I'm loyal! And, for the record, I love Jack Johnson.

I do photography, Oriental watercolor painting, calligraphy, ceramics, but have not done the ceramics in a long time, nor the jewelery or stained-glass. I am one of the oldest people on here, my dear. I've done LOTS of things in my life. In college, I was an art history major. I sell my photography and paintings on the side with a friend who is an art teacher. He puts up booths at different Pacific Northwest "happenings", we split the cost of it and we sell our wares, so to speak. I matte and frame all of my work. It's something I can do that I love to do, help support my family AND be able to be home and take care of my 8 year old daugther. So there you have it, the "crazy older lady" on the board! LOL!

Love Comes Quickly-The Pet Shop Boys
Sooner or later, this happens to everyone To everyone
You can live your life lonely Heavy as stone Live your life learning And working alone Say this is all you want But I don't believe that it's true 'Cause when you least expect it Waiting round the corner for you
Love comes quickly, whatever you do You can't stop falling (Ooh ooh) Love comes quickly, whatever you do You can't stop falling (Ooh ooh)
You can live a life of luxury If that's what you want Taste forbidden pleasures Whatever you want
You can fly away to the end of the world But where does it get you to? 'Cause just when you least expect it Just what you least expect
Love comes quickly, whatever you do You can't stop falling (Ooh ooh) Love comes quickly, whatever you do You can't stop falling (Ooh ooh)
I know it sounds ridiculous, but speaking from experience It may seem romantic, and that's no defense Love will always get to you
Sooner or later, sooner or later, this happens to everyone To everyone
You can fly away to the end of the world But where does it get you?
Love comes quickly, whatever you do You can't stop falling (Ooh ooh) Love comes quickly, whatever you do You can't stop falling (Ooh ooh) Love comes quickly, whatever you do You can't stop falling (Ooh ooh) (Oooh)
Love comes quickly, whatever you do You can't stop falling (Ooh ooh) Love comes quickly, whatever you do You can't stop falling (Ooh ooh)

Lots of people know who Jack Johnson is Krysten, they play him all the time here in the Chicago market.
I guess it depends on your radio market.

My Secret Place by Joni Mitchell
I'm going to take you to My special place It's a place that you Like no one else I know Might appreciate I don't go there with anyone--but You're a special case For my special place For my secret place People talk to tell you something Or to take up space Guess I'm only talking To be talking to Your pretty face I don't talk much to anyone--but You're a special case For my special place My secret place I was born and raised In New York City I'm just getting used to Colorado-- Oh street bravado Carry me Why did you bring me to A place so wild and pretty? Are there pigeons in this park-- Muggers after dark-- In these golden trees-- In the secret place? I'm going to take you to My special place It's a place no amount of hurt and anger Can deface I put things back together there It all falls right in place-- In my special space My special place Once I saw a film In New York City That was shot in Colorado-- Girl meets desperado In the trembling mountain trees Out of all of the girls that you see In bleachers and cafe windows Sitting--flirting with someone Looking to have some fun Why did you pick me? For the secret place

:- These Words Natasha BeddingfieldThese words are my own yeah Threw some chords together The combination D-E-F It's who I am, it's what I do And I was gonna lay it down for you I Tried to focus my attention But I feel so A-D-D I need some help, some inspiration (But it’s not coming easily) Whoah oh… Tryn'a find the magic Tryn'a write a classic Don’t ya know, don’t ya know, don’t ya know Waste-bin full of paper Clever rhymes, see ya later These words are my own From my heart flow I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you There’s no other way To better say I love you, I love you… Read some Byron Shelly and Keats recited it over a hiphop beat I’m having trouble saying what I mean With dead poets and drum machines You know I had some studio time, booked But I couldn’t find the killa hook Now you've gone and raised the bar right up Nothin' I write is ever good enough These words are my own From my heart flow I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you There’s no other way To better say I love you, I love you… I’m getting off my stage The curtains pull away No hyperbole to hide behind my naked soul exposed Whoah.. oh.. oh.. oh.. Whoah.. oh.. Tryn'a find the magic Tryn'a write a classic Waste-bin full of paper Clever rhymes, see ya later These words are my own From my heart flown I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you There’s no other way To better say I love you… I love you, is that ok??
