I predict that the DQ is going to make him that much more fierce later on today and I am also going to say he will will I hope that Korean tv will carry it again.

socalgal - it sure looks like it. I just don't get this sport sometimes. It just seems so subjective and random at times. It definitely looks like he is blocking Apolo with his arm -- but it is all happening so fast and at hyper-speed. But I'm still steaming from last night and the way they just zero in on Apolo. I have no fear, though. Apolo is used to this type of treatment and has improved greatly because of it. It makes him tougher and makes him fight just that much harder. I do have to say that I don't like how the media is reporting that Apolo "pushed" the other Korean in the final lap. They obviously are clueless on the terminology of short track, and it makes Apolo look like he intended to "push" him when we know that it was most likely a defensive action. The Koreans in general get away with much more than that. It's so tough when you have two or more Koreans in a single race, especially a final. Sometimes I think they will try anything to get to the line first, because what is there to lose? I think losing to them is more disgraceful than DQ'ing. It makes for great entertainment, but for Apolo fans, it makes for great frustration. Sorry for the rant. I just really felt that this was going to be the one competition that Apolo could capitalize on. I know he has so much more in him. Where is it? He's better than the Koreans, I know it! apoloslove - you're absolutely right and I know Apolo will triumph in the end -he always does. And I know I'm WAY too defensive and protective!!!!

I was literally STANDING UP screaming at the computer screen and my two dogs came running in to make sure I was okay!! They know I've completely lost it. I feel like I go through the looking glass into another world or something and they are just left wondering when I'm coming back! hee hee!!

If I yell, and I do, then my cats stop in their tracks, put their ears back, and slink away. They're like 'she's lost it again.' Gotta love our animal friends. But yeah, watching a race, or game, I'm verbal. My sister's like 'who you talking to?' Um my tv/ monitor.

I yell out the names of the players and when we make a basket or Iverson makes a three, I scream! Last night I couldn't cause my parents were asleep but you get the drift..

Beautiful, happy tired picture at the press conference - thank you, susie. He looks very emotional. I wonder where Yuki and John are sitting in the stands?
Someone else had mentioned how thinned out/faint his soul patch looks -- it really does.
And beautiful blend, apolostarr!
