Note to self, karmalize next time I'm logged on and can. Love the smiley. Can you make me one that says "Vancouver - go fast, turn left"?
I too am ambivalent about a Hollywood type career for Apolo. And that is putting it very nicely. If he wants to entertain, how can he improve on entertaining us by skating or posing for Cosmo, or just standing there smiling and talking? If he wants to act, I don't think I can bear to watch. Talk show or announcing maybe. If he wants to be an ambassador for ST and the Olympics, well, I don't even know what that means or how he could do it any better than he is currently by skating and competing as such a fine example of the Olympic ideals.
Maybe I just have a lack of imagination though.

I agree with Stella and hope she's right. I'm always gonna support Apolo for sure, and i know he will make the right descision for him. But if he needs some help making the descision he can always call me and we can get together and discuss it. LOL I just wanna spend some time with him. =)

If he IS going to hollywood, it'll probably wear off pretty quickly. He's really enjoying the attention right now because he's young. But, I think it'll get on his nerves having the media on him even more than they already are. I don't mind if he doesn't go back to skating, even though I'd love him to. I just want him to use the gifts he's been given to do some good for people, not just use his face and body to pose for a camera and act silly on the red carpet. Sheesh! He's got more class than hollywood actors anyway! He's a REAL man, not some egocentric prick demanding that the brown M&M's are removed from the dressing room. (sorry, that was a rock star that did that) I think you know what I'm saying.

Stella, I agree with you because I read the article you referred to and it just seemed like the writer was repeating what Apolo said in the interview that was held in his father's salon, and neither Apolo (nor the article) said anything definite at all with regard to his future in short track. So, I am still hopeful that he will continue skating but will support him as a fan in whatever he pursues (within reason, of course).

Wahoo, Stella. Spent my Karma token on you. Don't spend it all in one place. Now, how do I cut and paste and send it to him? Maybe thru his official site? Can it be sent and posted on OZ? Heck, I can barely even type let alone do something so complex that takes years of specialized training and schooling and a 1550 on the SATs.

Does Apolo have an email address for fans to write to him? If he does, you could email it to him.

I hope you don't mind and I should have thought to check with you first, but Noelle asked if she could post it on OZ and I told her to go ahead (with credit to "Stellla" You're about to be internationally renowned." (Well, only if you stretch that def a lot.) If you do mind, let me know quick and I'll put a "stop the press on it.?

Sorry MT, I had stepped away from the computer for a few minutes. That's fine. I don't mind at all! I will definitely consider myself internationally renowned! At least that's what I'll tell people!

Stella, immortalized on OZ this a.m. You go girl. I think you should post a comment there under a different name going on an on about how wonderful "stella" and her smilies are and Apolo would be a fool not to skate after such inspriation. Then, you should make another smiley for occasional OZ poster, Rich saying "Apolo's tuckus belongs to me, go find your own, Rich"

we should send him a collective post to his web telling him how much we want him to skate again. One never knows, we might be that sign that he's so much waiting for.
