Clearly this woman has nerves of steel...  If I recall, this is after his fall at the Olympics where he cut his thigh (2006?). Other pictures I've seen show an audience, perhaps coaches and media, watching. I thought that was odd.  actually he cut his thigh in the 2002 olympics. This pic is 2006. If memory serves me, this was a promo for health screening and testing. I don't recall if it was at the actual olympics or just a spot around that time. Wasn't he the demonstration ginny pig? Raytheon's new equipment or something? |

Yeah, the reason I thought 2006 was the maturity of his face compared to 2002, but part of me was thinking that fall was in 2002. I wonder what the health screening promo and the Torino Olympics had to do with each other?
ETA: Well, this is the bandana thread. Sorry to get off topic. Back to bandanas....

I believe the second picture is from the" Evening Magazine" television show in Seattle. Looks like Apolo is at Alki Beach with West Seattle and one of the many ferries in the background. I think it's when he was voted "Sexiest Bachelor in Western Washington".
