Ok, I was just rewatching episode 10...this is the results show where Clyde is voted out. There's a bit towards the end which talks about how all the contestants deal with crticicsm. At one point Julianne is telling Apolo that he needs to be really perfect 'right here' becuase they're right in front of the judges. Apolo says 'really?' and screws up his face (as only he can). It's at 34:34 into the episode, if anyone wants to scrape it off the video. Sorry, I don't know how....bits a great scrunched up face.

aaosmits - amazing that you found the perfect goofy face buried in that episode - thanks for sharing. And welcome aboard! tdav, he's doin' his David Cooperfield impression "Nothin' up my sleeve..." Or something out of the three stooges. How does he go from that to the sober sexy studmuffin of the magazine shot where he's wearing that white suit? So much personality.  |

As goofy as it is, I still wanna kiss it. Is that wrong? *giggle*
Actually, it looks like it'd be pretty difficult to make that face. He's sort of frowning, but then he'd also raising an eyebrow. Hahaha even his face is muscle-bound!

Numberonefan, What quick service! Thanks so much. I think that's a hoot. I was trying to figure out which week they were training for ... I think it was the hotsexysamba, when she does the (for lack of a better word) windmill and she tells him in practice "you have to grab it". If you look at the actual performance, that's where they are on the floor when they do that move.
oooo....feeling a little like csi!

Yep Bella, I fell asleep during "Jail", snoozed right through "Law & Order SVU" and woke somewhere in the wee hours. Came in here and found our boy proving to the world that he isn't required to be pretty all the time. Wow! What's funny is that wasn't the only face he pulled during rehearsal. He reminds me of a naughty school kid making a face when the teacher turns her back. The dancing was great but I'd have been equally happy with just tons of rehearsal footage.

I love that white suit shot! Does anyone know where that was?
He made one face during rehersal footage just to play for the camera - like he was listening attentively to Julianne, glanced up and noticed the camera and then made faces at her... Hmm. That would need to be shown in a sequence I think. I don't have much time to play this week; I'll try to get that next week if someone doesn't beat me to it!

The dancing was great but I'd have been equally happy with just tons of rehearsal footage. I agree! It was just so much fun watching Apolo and Julianne interact. And watching Apolo move!  And yes, that face is insane weird. Even so, I can't say it's unattractive. There are many pics of me I'd rather tear up, but Apolo is always interesting, if not beautiful! I really enjoy his goofy side.  |
