It's so funny that an "Apolo and Company" thread has become a discussion of his necklaces!  I have no computer photo skills, and I really appreciate the research you all are doing on the necklaces. $2450?!? I've barely spent that much on furniture in my home! Anyway... I am thinking now that the pendant necklaces he wore to the TCAs are different than the one he had on in the Vancouver pictures (with the team and backstage at the show). The Vancouver one does seem to have more of a J or U shape on the lower right corner. Can anyone do a side by side picture comparison? Thanks! It's like he started with the one, liked it so much, he got it in the lighter version... And if they are diamonds in the raised details, the light could easily be reflected and streached in the picture to look like it's a single feature... Crystals can do funky things when the light catches them right... My 2 cents, anyway... |

I too think it's the same necklace, it's just caught by the light in a goofy way in Vancouver. I personally just think it's something he liked and wanted, so he got it. |

They also sell a white diamond version of the dark one. They are the same pendant just different color diamonds. I'll go see if I can track down a photo, that will be easier to explain it. Here's the other necklace I was talking about:  Wow, I didn't know that dog tags could be so pretty! I like them, good choice Apolo! |

Maybe there is one with a J. Because if he's wearing both of them (the black and white diamond ones) as like a pair now, why would he just wear one back then?

To me, it is really easy to see how the area around the circle and the square could be mistaken for a J. And as to why did he just wear one then and 2 now? Maybe he bought one and liked it so much, he later bought a 2nd one. Haven't we all done that before? I know I have. Let's not make more of this than there is. I think that is called "making mountains out of mole hills." |
