Hi, GASP! I love your screen name! I think quite a few of us have loved Apolo since we first saw him, but only recently found this board. Of course, there are many "Old Timers" here, but we won't tease them about their age.  tina, nice to meet you. Hope to see you post more often! Hello everyone! I'm Nicky, I thought I should introduce myself seeing as I have been lurking in the background for a while but have never posted. I'm from London, England and have been interested in Apolo and short track in general since Salt Lake 2002 but due to the lack of coverage in the UK it was difficult for me to keep track of Apolo's career. However, I decided to make a concentrated effort during Torino, I even watched the live webcast last weekend, which was tiring but wonderful nonetheless. London is 7 hours ahead of SLC, so Friday's events kept me awake until gone 2am on Saturday but it was worth it! I have to confess that I did watch Apolo on DWTS - the first time he has graced British television since Torino  but your version is way better than ours (bloody awful in comparison - pardon my French!  ) Anyways, I'd just like to say a HUGE THANKS to all of you - it's you guys who are keeping me up-to-date and constantly entertained with your posts, hopefully I can help contribute in some way.  |
